Hi, friends!!!
Wanna share with u all a big piece of juicy news!
I'm goin for a local mission trip on this coming march for 2 weeks.
It's my first mission trip in my life and i'm totally a noob in it.
Sounds exciting, doesn't it?!
This mission trip comes under a project known as Gen12II organised by S'pore Campus Crusade for Christ.
I'll be going to a local childcare centre called Charis Care Centre.
As mission trip requires me to stay out of my comfort zone (my own comfortable home),
I need to raise a sum of $350 to cover my lodging and other expenses. I really need help from all of you. You can help me by contributing any amount of money and/or be my prayer warrior to support me in your prayers. Here are my objectives and reasons to go for this mission trip:
1) I felt that it’s a calling from God and I need to response to it.
2) I want to know the true meaning of serving, loving children, teammates and God, and to trust God in all circumstances.
3) I want to see a breakthrough in my spiritual life (spiritual maturity) and stretch my faith in God.
4) I’m obeying God’s command by going out to the nations (Singapore for now) to reach out to the unsaved and share the Gospel with them.
5) I want to grow closer to God and.
6) I’m going with a team of people from different campuses (so-called strangers) so I will really get to interact with different types of people and have to learn to love ,and accept them for who they are. I’ll learn how to work with them and to stay united in this team.
7) I’m truly blessed by God so I wish to bless others in my life by setting good examples for them and to tell them about God’s love.
8) I can improve my photography and writing skills (because I’m the photographer and reporter of my team! hahahz).
9) I’ll learn how to take care of these children.
10) Those young Christian children will have us to do follow-up with them.
11) To bring joy and fun to the children through our activities.
12) I want to take this as a learning process and experience for my future mission trips and as a challenge in my life now.
